King's Paint & Hardware is proud to announce that Matthew Hinde has joined the Group as its new Financial Director. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Matthew has acquired shares in the King's Paint & Hardware Head Office and will be tasked with the responsibility of overseeing and managing the financial side of the business. He brings with him a wealth of experience gained over the past 6 years as an independent consultant working with Deloitte & Touche. Matthew has been involved in project management, corporate restructuring, system analysis and design, as well as providing financial assistance to many commercial and public sector clients.

"I am very excited about the potential and possibilities that are locked up within the King’s Paint & Hardware brand", Matthew says. "A large part of my efforts will therefore be focused on unlocking these benefits for our store owners, suppliers and customers by streamlining the financial structures that are currently in place".

With the help of a special management forum (made up out of Head Office and King’s Paint branch owners), he will also be involved in the strategic planning and negotiations with suppliers to the benefit of all the parties concerned.
