In order to get the best results with neutral colours, it is essential that you match them with darker colours for your decorations and furniture; this provides the necessary definition and contrast. To imbue a room with a sense of tranquillity, we can custom-mix a matt paint for you but sand, oats and bark colours work very well for this purpose as well. If you prefer drama to tranquillity, make use of striking contrast by matching charcoal with light grey, or black with white.

Using shades of brown with cream, beige and some of the lighter autumn colours can do a lot to strengthen the decorative flow in a room.  Neutral colours can also bring about a sense of space in a room; this is particularly true of rooms like lounges that have large windows.
