The right paint brushes can make a world of difference to your paint job

When painting a home or even just a room, a paint brush can be your greatest tool or your greatest irritation. Many people will paint their homes with the best quality paint, but still buy the cheapest paint brushes they can find. Not only will cheap brushes lose their hairs as you paint, leaving unsightly lines on the walls, their bristles are not distributing the paint in the best way it could.

Paint brushes are used to paint harder to reach areas as well as areas where a roller cannot reach. For example, if you are painting a room, you will need a paint brush to paint a line from the ceiling downwards to where the roller will be able to reach as well as in the corners of the room and above the cornices. Trying to get too close to these edges with a roller will result in unsightly marks and spills and may mean that you need to paint the cornices or ceiling again, especially if there is a big difference in colour between these areas.
